Klakkur is a mountain on the island of Bordeaux, which can be found directly on the town of Klaksvík. The climb to Klakkur is not difficult and from the top you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area and other islands – Kunoy, Eysturoy and the hollow island of Kalsoy.
Binoculars are available so you can zoom in on some of the views and, for example, count how many sheep are on the opposite island.
Mount Klakkur is definitely one of the places you shouldn’t miss on your visit to the Faroe Islands.
