Črno jezero

Black Lake is a smaller lake in the mountains of Triglav National Park. You can walk here from the car park, which is about 4 kilometres west of the village of Ukanc on the western shore of Lake Bohinj.

Swimming in the lake is forbidden for nature protection reasons!

The path to the Black Lake is quite steep, you can manage an elevation gain of 650 metres over four kilometres, in some places there are aid ropes and spikes in the rocks for a better grip.

On the way up, you can take a short detour from the main road and look at the Savica waterfall from above, where you can see the water rushing through the rock and falling down.
