I. Martuljški slap is the lower waterfall on the river Martuljška Bistrica and itself consists of three jumps, the first is 29 meters, the second 25 meters and the third 5 meters.
The journey from the village of Gozd Martuljek takes about 45 minutes with an elevation gain of 170 metres. The trail leads through the forest and except for the last section, the path is quite easy. The last section of the trail has a few more difficult spots, especially as it is narrow and runs along a rock, so it can be slippery (even more so if it is wet). Take extra care here.
There are several seating options at the waterfall viewpoint so you can relax and enjoy the local nature.
