Hoygardurin is a small viewpoint about a kilometre southeast of the village of Sandur on the island of Sandoy. The view of the beach, the village and the islands of Skúvoy, with the islands of Stóra Dímun, Lítla Dímun and Suðuroy in the background. If you are in these places at a time when the sea is wild, then know that the sea water will reach here.
