Mikladalur is a village on the Faroese island of Kalsoy, located in a mountain bay. Here you will find the only campsite on the island of Kalsou, a small waterfall, a car park with toilets and since 2014 the local coastline is decorated with the statue of Kópakonan.
Like many places in the Faroe Islands, Mikladalur is a very interesting view from the opposite island. It is when viewed from Kunoy Island that the remoteness of these places becomes fully apparent.
