Antamåla Rör

If you look in the direction of Antamåla Rör when you arrive, your jaw will drop! It doesn’t look nearly as monumental in the photos. You will see a pile of stones about 10 meters high and if you think for a moment that it is all made by human hands – for example, as a grave, you will not understand how anyone could have done it at all. However, the truth is that these huge granite boulders, some up to three metres in diameter, are completely natural and were piled up by the glacier. The entire Antamåla Rör is 150 metres long, 50 metres wide and up to 11 metres high at its highest point.
It is reached by a forest gravel road and there is a parking lot for 3 to 4 cars just outside Antamåla Rör.
