Årdalsknapen, with its peak at 762 m above sea level, offers beautiful views in all directions and is also about a 4-hour hike. The hike is moderately demanding with a few steeper places and a few smaller stream crossings.
There are no artificial holds or stairs, so be careful where and how you step.
You can get to Årdalsknapen from several places, but you’ll probably use the road that starts at the bend just a few hundred metres south of the Neset campsite. The height difference is about 550 metres.
