Beinisvørð

Beinisvørð is a breathtaking 469 metre high cliff shaped like a lobster. Beinisvørð is the highest cliff on the island of Suðuroy and can be found on the western shore in the southern part of the island. The best way to get here is by car along the old mountain road between the villages of Lopra and Sumba. There is good parking nearby with one bench to sit on, it is only a few hundred metres up a gentle hill to the cliffs.
