Bøsdalafossur

Bøsdalafossur is a 40-metre high cascading waterfall that spills Lake Leitisvatn (or Sørvágsvatn) at its southern edge into the Atlantic Ocean.
Bøsdalafossur is located on the south coast of Vágar Island, near the famous Trælanípa cliffs.
The walk to the waterfall from the car park takes about an hour, from the Trælanípa cliffs only a few minutes. Due to its location it is hardly visible from the shore, the best views of Bøsdalafossur waterfall are from a helicopter.
