This rest area can be found about 80 km north of Narvik along the E6 road. This is an additional parking area to fit several cars, caravans and trucks.
There is no dry toilet and for picnic purposes there is a picnic area with five tables and two are covered.
The view from here overlooks the bed of the peacefully flowing Barduelva River and beyond it the peaks of the almost 1500 metre high Istid and Söre Istinden mountains.
