Espelandsfossen (Odda)

Espelandsfossen (at Oddadalen) is an almost 80-metre high waterfall on the Rausvatnet River, through which up to 4 m3/sec flows in early summer. Being somewhere else, a waterfall like this can be a nice destination for a moderate trek. Here, however, it’s in the shadow of Låtefossen Waterfall, just a few hundred metres away, and the fact that it’s not very easy to get to and can only really be seen from the road means that it’s one of Norway’s most overlooked waterfalls.
