Gea Norvegica Geopark or Mølen Geopark is a beautiful place on the coast, but unlike most other parks with greenery and landscaped beds, here you will find mainly rocks, many kinds of rocks. You can also admire and walk through hundreds of millions of years of history – for example, the salt rock has been here for 300 million years.
There are perhaps a hundred species of minerals, among others e.g. quartzite, granite, hornblende, syenite, larvikite, sandstone, limestone, rutile and many others.
