Hallandsfossen

Hallandsfoss (on the Otra River) is one of those waterfalls that has been greatly influenced by the construction of waterworks on Norwegian rivers. There used to be undoubtedly impressive rapids here, but today you will find more rocks with water flowing in the middle. Take care when moving around the area. The stones are bare and quite smooth, thus very slippery. Even in dry conditions, let alone when they are wet.
