Helgelandsbrua

Helgelandsbrua can be found on Norway’s Fv17 road and connects the mainland with the island of Alsta. It is a suspension bridge with two pylons with a height of over 130 metres, the bridge deck is 45 metres above the water. Helgelandsbrua is the third longest suspension bridge in Norway and its monumentality is best enjoyed from the nearby Vindenes goose resting place.
