Kannesteinen

Kannesteinen is a rock formation created by tidal waves that, with just a little imagination, resembles the tail fin of a humpback whale as it dives under the surface. But it may remind you of something else.

Kannesteinen can be found on the western shore of Vågsøy  about 10 kilometres away from the pretty town of Måløy. This area is one of the most westerly places in Norway you can get to.
