Kranjska Gora

Kranjska Gora is a town in the foothills of the Julian Alps in northeastern Slovenia, literally a few kilometres from the border with Italy.

The source of the Sava Dolinka River, Lake Zelenci, is definitely worth a visit. In winter there are several ski slopes in the area.

Kranjska Gora is also the beginning of the famous road that leads you in 25 curves to the mountain saddle Vršica. Then in the next 25 turns it will lead you down to the area of Bovec.
