Kvalsundbrua

The Kvalsundbrua Bridge is currently the world’s most faithful suspension bridge. It bridges the Kvalsundet Strait and connects the mainland with the island of Kvaløya. The pylons are 81 and 97 metres high and the bridge deck is 25 metres above the water. The Kvalsundbrua Bridge was built in 1977 and at that time it was the longest bridge in Norway.
