Lakselv is a town in the far north of Scandinavia. It lies on the right bank of the Lakselva River just a few kilometres before it flows into the waters of the North Sea. Lakselv has an American look, dominated by two-storey houses spaced far apart. There is also an airport, which is an important transport link to other parts of Scandinavia.
