Laukifossen is a waterfall on the Oldeelva River that you can see on the way to Briksdalsbreen. Laukifossen Waterfall is not very accessible and it is relatively difficult to see it in all its glory. There is a footbridge directly above the waterfall, but you cannot see the waterfall very well from it. Looking from the river there are many trees that obstruct the view. The fishermen’s footbridges, which could be used for views, are in a very poor condition and if they were to break under you, you would be bathing in a glacial river and you certainly don’t want that.
However, the area around Laukifossen is beautiful and there are many interesting corners with fishing houses.
