Nordkapp

The North Cape – Nordkapp is a destination for many travellers. Even though it is not the northernmost place in Europe (that’s Kinnaroden), nor even the northernmost place that can be reached by dry foot (or car) thanks to the tunnel to Magerøya (that’s Knivskjelloden), it is certainly the most popular. Because while Kinnaroden is an 18-kilometre walk and Knivskjelloden is an 8-kilometre walk, Nordkapp is easily accessible by car.

In addition, there is the famous globe, which is a must for many a traveller’s photograph of the remote places of northern Scandinavia.

In addition to the globe, there is a restaurant, an information centre and several other attractions.

Parking is currently free, even overnight.
