Halahults offerlunden – Offerlunden i Halahult are several carvings in stone and old runes in the Sacrificial Hall dating from the 16th century. century and no one knows exactly why they were created. You will find carvings in five stones, several bowls, a bear’s paw or a human leg. Either it was an interpretation of the pre-Christian era, or it was godless vandalism.
The monument is located in an oak grove and can be reached from the parking lot from the road in about 10 minutes on a slow walk in beautiful countryside. If you’re just a little bit lucky you may encounter deer here, so tread carefully to avoid spooking them.
