Old Town Square

The Old Town Square in Prague is definitely one of the most popular places. You will find the Astronomical Clock, the Old Town Hall, the Church of St. Nicholas, the Týn Cathedral, the monument to Master Jan Hus and the new Marian Column. The square is interesting because you can see almost all architectural styles in one place.

In 1621, the Old Town Square became the scene of the execution of 27 Bohemian lords. This event is commemorated by crosses on the pavement in front of the east side of the town hall.
