Knutlia is a spacious rest area halfway between Mo i Rana and Mosjøen. It offers plenty of space for cars, motorhomes, caravans and trucks.
There are several tables of information boards with information about the area and also a memorial which commemorates the bloody history of local road building.
The toilets, which are heated, don’t have hot or cold drinking water and the foundations for the new toilet building have now been laid, so maybe next time you come here there will be new ones.
From the rest area you have a magnificent view of the landscape, dominated by the almost 1400 m high Lukttinden mountain.
You will also find an information board commemorating the local bloody war history.
