Peričnik Waterfall is definitely one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Slovenia. You can find it about 5 kilometres west of the village of Mojstrana, but you can drive (if restrictions allow) to the nearby waterfall on the Triglavská cesta road, where there is a small parking lot. You can see the waterfall from here, it is 400 metres away and you will have to climb 110 metres to reach it.
The waterfall falls down from a rock ledge under which you can walk and see the waterfall from behind. The water in the area of the waterfall seeps through the rock and it is obvious that one day the whole ledge will break off due to erosion. However, this may not happen for several thousand years. For you, however, it currently means that it is literally raining under the ledge in some places.
From the waterfall, you can climb the stairs to the upper Peričnik waterfall (Zgornji Peričnikov slap), which is 16 metres high. However, you will only see part of the upper part of the waterfall.
