The beautiful viewpoint of Plattingen offers a view of the most famous mountain road in Norway – Trollstigen. Here you can enjoy the view of the 11 curves of Trollstigen, the Tverelva River Valley and the surrounding majestic mountains from different angles. Nearby is a large parking lot with toilets, a restaurant and a shop. This place is also one of the starting points after Trollveggen, which is the highest rock wall in Europe.
You can also see two waterfalls at the site, Stigfossen, which flows directly below the viewpoint, and Trollfossen, which you will see on the right.
