Preikestolen

Preikestolen, sometimes also Prekestolen, or in Czech, Preacher’s pulpit. The huge rock area, measuring about 30×30 metres, is a popular natural attraction and scenery for its interesting appearance and beautiful view of the Lysefjord and the surrounding landscape.

The popularity of the place is also added by the fact that it is easily accessible. The way here is quite easy, with only a few steeper passages, and it can be done by anyone who walks 8 kilometres with an elevation gain of 350 metres. The bottom line is that Preikestolen receives about 300,000 visitors a year, in other words, you will never be alone.
