Rjukanfossen i Tovdal is a very charismatic waterfall on the Dalsåna River in Årdalen Nature Reserve. It has a very interesting shape and despite being 40 metres long it is difficult or impossible to see the whole of it from the front. The river breaks in a very strange way in the area of the waterfall and you can see only a hole in front of you, into which the water is pouring. The Rjukanfossen waterfall can be reached from the car park at the end of the road no. 272 in about an hour. The way here is not difficult except for a few places, all the way from the parking lot you go upstream.
