Silfar Canyon was dug into the rocky walls by the Børselva River. It has an emerald green colour at the bottom and gives the place.
The canyon is easily accessible from the nearby car park and the walk will take no more than 10 minutes. You can see the canyon from the top, and with a little care you can go down to the river in some places.
