Vintgar is a gorge by the Radovna River. The pedestrian path is often artificial and is somehow ‘glued’ to the surrounding rocks, along the way you will see high rock walls and numerous waterfalls.
There is an entrance fee (10 Euro) and the gorge is one-way, the trail starts at the southern entrance and ends at the Šum waterfall. You can do the whole tour and return in less than 2 hours, including many stops, for example for photos.
