Steinkjer bystranda is a pleasant urban beach on the banks of the Steinkjerelva River just a few hundred metres before it empties into the Beitstadfjorden. It can be found right in the town of Steinkjer, so the environment is made up of city traffic and traffic on the nearby road bridge.
