Steinsdalsfossen (sometimes also Øvsthusfossen, Øfsthusfossen) is a beautiful 48-metre high waterfall on the Fosselva River in Hordaland. In this area, Steinsdalsfossen is one of the most popular natural attractions. It is interesting mainly because you can walk behind it under a rock overhang and observe the waterfall from a very unusual angle. There is a small lookout point above the waterfall, from where you can enjoy a nice view of the waterfall and the Stainsdalelva valley.
Steindalsfossen is 2 kilometres west of Norheimsund and 75 kilometres east of Bergen. There is a spacious parking lot near the waterfall.
