Svandalsfossen

Svandalsfossen is a nice and interesting waterfall just off the Rv520 with a total height of about 200 metres. You can already see the lower part of the waterfall from the road, but it is certainly not as interesting. If you want to see the prettier half of the Svandalsfossen waterfall, you have to climb several steps, the lower part made of metal and the upper part of natural stone.

At the upper segment of the waterfall there is a stone table where you can give your body and soul a rest. If you’re from the north, this waterfall, the top part of it, might look like a smaller version of Iceland’s Dynjandi waterfall.
