The Tømmerrenna is originally a wood slide about four kilometres long along the Otra River near the town of Vennesla near Kristiansand. You can take a walk now, and you definitely should! You won’t believe how much fun it actually is. Sometimes you will walk almost on land, sometimes at altitude, above the wetlands, then on a bridge over the river. In the slide, however, you actually ride almost on the flat, so the ride is completely easy.
You can start at the Steinsfossen waterfall and the path will take you to e.g. to the now abandoned Kringsjå power plant.
