Torås fort

Torås fort is a military fortress for the control of the Oslofjord. Its construction began in 1939 and was not completed until the German occupation. The Torås fortress was finally completed by the Germans in 1941 and was equipped with four 15cm Bofors L guns.

After the end of the war, the fortress was used for military purposes until 1999, when Torås Fortress was secured. Three of the four works are still in place.
