Valursfossen

Valursfossen is the thundering waterfall of the river Veig, which makes its way through the Norwegian mountain landscape. According to some sources, the waterfall is up to 70 metres high and may not be that high, but it is still a very prominent feature in the local landscape. Both because of the forcefulness of the water flow and the fact that the river basically bends a good 150° at the Valursfossen waterfall.

The walk from the car park to the waterfall will take you a pleasant hour over only moderately challenging terrain.
