Veliki Drsnik is a high waterfall on the Fraterica River, which falls from a high cliff here. The waterfall is certainly very impressive during the spring thaw, but in the summer months it is not very dramatic.
The Veliki Drsnik waterfall can be reached from the village of Log pod Mangartom by first crossing the Koritnica River and heading upstream to the Fraterice River. Here you will walk through the forest and see a number of nice little waterfalls and pools below you.
One of the most beautiful places on the way is the Parabola waterfall.
The hike will take you about an hour, is 1.5 kilometres long and you will have an elevation gain of 220 metres.
