Veliki Kozjak is a beautiful waterfall on the Kozjak River, which seems to have made its way through a rock gorge and the surroundings of the waterfall look like a large cave.
Veliki Kozjak can be found near the village of Kobarid, the path to the Veliki Kozjak waterfall is about two kilometres along an easy forest path. At the beginning, you will pass by the Soča River, then turn into the woods where you can find the Mali Kozjak waterfall.
The last part of the trail leads you along the Kozjak riverbed and in the last part of the trail you are walking on an artificially created path. There is a fee (5 Eur) to visit the waterfall.
