If you are like many fascinated by the beautiful photographs of Mount Segla, believe that the vast majority of them were taken from the climb up Mount Hesten.
The climb up Mount Heston starts either at the car park or at the bottom of the slope in the village of Fjordgård on Senja.
The ascent here is relatively easy in the lower parts can be muddy, other sections are reinforced with a wooden footbridge.
If you want to climb all the way to the top of Mount Hesten, there are about 100 relatively difficult metres at the end.
