Korrö Hantverksby

Crafts have always flourished in the historic village of Korrö Hantverksby and today you can still see the grain mill and sawmill. These two houses are open to the public, you can visit them freely and see how things looked and worked a few hundred years ago. At one time there was also a brewery. With the advent of industrial production and thus competition, local crafts and businesses began to decline and businesses were gradually closed. The final end of the craft occurred in 1948, when the wheels of the local mills stopped turning.
However, in 1950 the first hostel opened here and the village gradually became a popular tourist destination.
